Fostering successful clinical supervision
Caring for our clients is at the heart of our work as helping professionals.
To offer support and empathic care to our clients, self-care is critical. This helps us to support and offer empathic care to our clients and maximize outcomes for our clients. Hence, Clinical supervision is important for self-care. First of all, it offers support for supervisees, regulates and trains clinicians. Furthermore, it helps supervisees to reflect on transference, countertransference, parallel processes, etc to effectively engage our clients towards the accomplishment of their goals.
