Aarti is a Clinic Director and Registered Counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counsellors. She has a Masters in Counselling and Bachelors in Psychology / Sociology.

Aarti is an easy going and personable therapist. She believes in a laid – back approach and the sessions feel safe, warm and practical. She believes that as therapists we are facilitating clients to join the dots of their lives through exploration and deeper connection with their stories and their being. She also thinks that her connection in your life as a therapist has a meaning and purpose for both her and you.

She is not the one to be afraid to question or to have difficult conversations. Nor will she refrain in letting you know that you are restricting yourself and your pursuits.

She loves being a therapist as it offers her the opportunity to be a part of people”s stories and to witness the courage that they demonstrate through the sharing of their vulnerabilities.

Aarti uses an eclectic and holistic approach. She is trained in different evidence based therapies like CBT, EMDR, Gottman Therapy, and Brainspotting to name a few. However she is certain that her life experiences, philosophy and personality are what truly help her in building those deeper and impactful connections with her clients. Aarti also incorporates her wellness and nutritional knowledge into her work with her clients mental health.

She believes in an individualised assessment of clients’ needs to tailor her training and philosophy for the clients work with her.

Aarti believes in a profound therapeutic connection being the central point to healing and recovery. She holds a passion for normalizing and working with the universality of the human experience to which we can all relate.
