What are Crisis Intervention Services?

Our Crisis Intervention Services provide immediate, short-term psychological support following a workplace crisis. These are moments when emotions run high, routines are disrupted, and your team needs guidance to regain a sense of safety and stability.

We are available at short notice. Our team of trained mental health professionals responds swiftly—supporting affected individuals and teams, helping them process what has happened, and equipping them with tools to cope and recover.

While most of our work takes place after a crisis, we also work with organisations to develop basic response protocols ahead of time—so your team knows how to act and who to call when the unexpected happens.

Our approach

  • Rapid response, trained team

Our counsellors are trained in the NOVA Community Crisis Response Team (CCRT) model—an internationally recognised, evidence-based approach developed by the National Organisation for Victim Assistance. We are equipped to respond quickly and with care.

  • Person-centred and trauma-informed

The NOVA model is grounded in empathy, non-intrusiveness, and respect. It helps people make sense of what they’ve experienced without overwhelming them further.

  • Support for individuals and teams

We provide psychological first aid through group debriefings, one-on-one support, psychoeducation, and stress management techniques—delivered onsite or virtually, based on your needs.

  • Response planning

For organisations that want to prepare in advance, we also offer light-touch support to set up crisis response protocols—ensuring clarity on who to involve and how to act during high-stress situations.
