Counsellor

I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, identity shifts, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centred. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and deeply heard.

I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I tailor my work to the unique needs of each person I sit with, helping them reconnect with their values and build tools to navigate life with greater clarity and resilience.

The mind-body connection.

I believe that our emotional wellbeing is intimately tied to how we relate to our bodies. Movement and physical health have always played a significant role in my life, and I’ve experienced firsthand how they support emotional balance and nervous system regulation.

In my work, I pay attention to the full picture—what’s happening cognitively, emotionally, physically, and relationally. Whether you’re managing stress, burnout, or simply feeling disconnected, I’m here to support you in understanding your inner landscape and creating sustainable practices that support your whole wellbeing.

Life in motion.

Having lived in Singapore for nearly 20 years after growing up in the UK, I understand the emotional complexity that comes with transition—relocating, building community, and navigating change while far from familiar support systems. My own experiences have shaped a deep appreciation for growth, adaptability, and the courage it takes to redefine your path.

I bring this perspective into the therapy room, walking alongside clients as they move through seasons of uncertainty or change, and helping them connect with a sense of purpose and possibility in the process.

Grounded in lived experience.

Before stepping into the world of counselling, I worked for many years as a lawyer in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. I know what it’s like to strive, to juggle competing demands, and to quietly carry the weight of burnout or disconnection. I’m also a mother of three, and I understand the shifts—emotional, hormonal, and relational—that come with the many stages of parenting and womanhood.

These experiences have taught me the importance of slowing down, tuning in, and holding space with compassion. In therapy, my goal is to offer that space to you—so you can feel grounded, empowered, and supported as you navigate your own journey.

I have been seeing Jayne Street for almost a year now. I came in with corporate burnout & anxiety issues, but Jayne has been able to work with me on a myriad of issues since then, which have drastically improved my overall mental well-being. Jayne is very thoughtful, patient, calm and always goes above & beyond to ensure that you are fully understood and that all your concerns are addressed. I’m so grateful to have Jayne in my life! ❤️

I am very grateful for the support and guidance I've received from Jayne Street, who I've been seeing for 5 months. I've faced several issues recently (relationship, parenting, self-doubt, childhood trauma, etc). She has helped me observe my challenges deeper, reframe my thoughts, and slowly heal through positivity, curiosity, and kindness. She continues to offer insights and suggestions that gave me a healthier perspective. Our sessions have truly made a positive impact on my life, and I would highly recommend her! ♥️

I was having a really tough time when I started my counselling journey with Jayne, and she's been wonderful. She's a great listener, empathetic and super patient. She has provided so much insight into how to manage my thought patterns, which has been instrumental in helping me slowly get back on my feet. She has a way of bringing so much lightness and humour to our sessions that it always feels like I'm chatting with a friend over coffee. If anyone is looking for a counsellor who exudes warmth and is highly experienced, I would recommend Jayne!

I found Jayne shortly after I had a stillbirth. Even though I knew that I wanted to heal and not lose what I have because of what I had lost, I did not know how to navigate through my grief. Jayne has helped and continues to help me do this, by guiding me to fully acknowledge the impact of the loss in every aspect of my life and also to find the gifts from our baby, the glimmers of hope, growth and joy amidst it all. I truly believe seeking counselling and meeting Jayne has been one of the main reasons I am able to move forward with purpose. Thank you, Jayne.

I see Jayne Street at Incontact and working with her over the last few months feels like speaking to a friend who also has a deep understanding of different therapeutic approaches. She really takes the time to tailor how she works to what I need at the time, and it always comes from a place of genuine care. I leave every session feeling heard, lighter, more grounded and supported. As someone who spent quite a bit of time searching for the right therapist, I feel very grateful to have found her :)
